Pablo is a postdoctoral researcher in the funRNA team at IPS2, funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), working under the supervision of Dr. Martin Crespi in collaboration with Dr. Thomas Blein and Dr. Jeremie Bazin. His project focuses on how long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) regulate alternative splicing in plants, and how this knowledge can be applied to the design of synthetic RNAs capable of modulating gene expression. Combining molecular biology, RNA biochemistry, and genomics, his research sits at the interface between fundamental RNA regulation and its biotechnological potential.

Originally from Argentina, Pablo appreciates the interdisciplinary environment and the culturally diverse community of the funRNA team, where scientific challenges are met with both rigor and creativity. When not in the lab, he can be found enjoying music, writing, hiking, cooking, or trying to pronounce ‘croissant’ correctly.
