Fabio is a PhD student in the funRNA team founded by INRAE and works under the supervision of Dr. Jeremie Bazin and Dr. Martin Crespi. Fabio’s research focuses on understanding how alternative splicing is involved in heat stress response and stress memory acquisition in tomatoes. Using a combination of sequencing, genetic, and physiological analysis, Fabio is interested in understanding how alternative splicing regulates heat tolerance acquisition through the regulation of splicing factors and heat stress-related proteins.
