Valentin is a french PhD student in the funRNA team supported by the SEVE doctoral school under the direction of Dr. Étienne Delannoy, Dr. Thomas Blein and Dr. Olivier Martin. Valentin’s PhD project focuses on deciphering plant organ development genetic regulation through gene regulatory network construction, single cell omics analysis and wet lab experiments. Valentin is specially interested in identifying new coding or non-coding transcriptionnal regulators involved in cell identity transitions. Due to his broad interest in programming, Valentin also supports funRNA and other teams by developing applications and websites that facilitate data visualization, exploration, and open-field experiments. Outside of the lab Valentin enjoys programming, doing sport and hanging out with his friends.
